Dr. Ken Whidden is a native of northwest Florida, growing up in the
nearby town of Chipley, Florida. After graduating from Auburn University
with a B.S. in Aviation Management in 1984, Dr. Whidden started
his professional career as a naval aviator. His last tour on active duty was
as a flight instructor at
NAS Whiting Field, in Milton, Florida. Dr. Whidden was recently promoted to his present rank of Captain, United States Navy Reserve.
After completion of his active duty years, Dr. Whidden attended
and graduated magna cum laude from Life University in Marietta,
Georgia. After graduation, Dr. Whidden then became a licensed chiropractor in the state of Florida.
Dr. Whidden was voted "Best Chiropractor " by the readers of Emerald Coast Magazine for the years 2004 and 2005. Dr. Whidden has also been designated as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (ACBSP).
He is active in several community organizations
and continues to attend post graduate courses in order to better serve the chiropractic
needs of his patients. He lives in Destin with his wife, Kathy and
children, Jeremy and Jessica.
